What can you do and where can you go around Loma-Jussila?
Viitakko is a rural tourism company which specializes in nature adventures. It has a climbing tower, canoeing equipment and tasty food prepared by Jaana and Erik, the hosts.
Tuusniemi center has the necessary grocery stores but no Alko (the alcohol store). A few kilometers from the center there is a gorge where you can hike and eat your provisions and marvel at the rocks.
Hojo hojo is a traditional Finnish dance hall beside the center. You can spend a summer night there dancing and listening to top Finnish artists.
Savetar is a souvenir shop where everything is self-made.
The boulevard, finished in 2007, is the waterfront area between Hojo hojo and the Rantamylly coffee shop. There is also a beach.
On the border between the towns of Kaavi and Juankoski there is the old foundry of Juutila where big iron bells are cast. There is also a bell museum.
